Rocky and First Blood. On a bit of a Stallone kick as of late. Both of course are classics.

Cars

Still cars until now?  ;D

I understand your situation. After all, I have a 3 year old daughter that can't stop watching Mulan.  ;)

Charade. Loved the chemistry between Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant. A very good movie.

I just watched the Swedish movie Let The Right One In, in part because of this thread.

It was awesome. I am extremely satisfied with that movie.

A Prophet. It is a French prison/gangster movie. Incredible. I highly recommend it if you are okay with subtitles.

If not, just wait for the (American) remake  ;)

I saw the trailer for this movie and will definitely be watching it at some point soon.

The Human Centipede.

Film shot in the Netherlands, about a mad German doctor, that wants to have a go at stitching 3 human beings together.

Disturbing film, a bit like the Saw series, though less gore is shown. It's "worse" though, in that the idea might be even more depraved. The acting is so-so, but it's still a must see if you're into this kind of film.

Saw "The Town" tonight.  I was expected a bit more suspense, but it was an enjoyable movie.  Wicked good Boston stuff.

Rocky and First Blood. On a bit of a Stallone kick as of late. Both of course are classics.

Had a friend who had a perfect idea for the ultimate Stallone movie.

Rocky is kidnapped by a foreign nation and held to perform in a staged fight to steal the title from the USA.  The Colonel goes to Rambo and reveals that he and Rocky are twin brothers, separated at infancy, and needs Rambo to go and rescue Rocky --we all know what happens from that point on>

I just watched get him to the greek and I wish I would've paid $9 a ticket plus popcorn. It was that good.

Finally saw this last weekend.  I agree and disagree with you on this one.  Thought the first hour was hilarious, actually one of the funniest movies I had seen in awhile, but then about halfway through, the movie just got really awkward and weird.  Kind of a letdown at the end.

Shutter Island.

I really liked it, thought it was well done, if a bit predictable.
