Last night I watched The 36th Chamber of Shaolin with my wife, who had never seen it. It's great, although like a lot of other movies not quite as great as its reputation. I appreciate that it's a thinking man's kung fu movie, but I think it could use a little more action.

I think my (and my wife's) favorite kung fu movie is Legend of Drunken Master. I don't care how silly you think it is, you can't have much more fun watching a movie than this.

Ditto ... awesome kick-flick! (And another TP for a wife with such good taste - my fiance' was into MA before I met her ... it was one our "soul-mate" revelations ... among many ;) My favorite will always be "Enter The Dragon" though ... it was my introduction to Bruce Lee and a world of "wow!")

Just watched Ice Age 3 with my daughters

Watched Night at the Museum 2 last night

Neither were as good as their predecessors, but fun enough.

Looking forward to watching Inglorious Basturds as soon as my wife and I can carve out some adult time together.
Yup

Up.

Awesome film. One of the best animated films I've ever seen.

The whole thing just made me realize that I'm on the wrong side of the planet right now. Bah. I really, really miss my girlfriend.

Oh, and I watched Donnie Darko with some friends.

Now that's one of the best movies ever. Right up there with ... erm... well bumloads of others really :] lol But still, it's a movie that makes you actually think about stuff.

Me like.

I was quite disappointed with Transformers.

Devastator should have destroyed that annoying twin (why are they even added to the movie?)

Devastator should have never been destroyed by the Navy.

Yes.  Which is why it was more disappointing how he was destroyed.  All he did was suck some sand.

Aliens in the Attic!

Watching Space Buddies tonight.

Yup, it's school vacation.  Have been trying to watch Inglorious Basturds for about a week now to no avail.

My mother in law is taking my daughters tomorrow.  My wife and I are driving 40 miles to the nearest theater showing Avatar in 3D.  Eberything I've heard is that it's a must see in 3-D to get the full experience.

I think the last 3-D I saw was The Creature in the Black Lagoon.
Yup

Up in The Air.

I was entertained, but you might wait for DVD.  Not as good as advertised...
