Dunkirk today...  one of the worst war movies I have seen.  one of the worst Nolan movie I have seen.   Nolan + War movies = overdone

Nolan hasn't directed any other war movies:

2017 Dunkirk
2014 Interstellar
2012 The Dark Knight Rises
2010 Inception
2008 The Dark Knight
2006 The Prestige
2005 Batman Begins
2002 Insomnia
2000 Memento
1998 Following

Dunkirk has a 92 rating on Rotten Tomatoes, 94 on Metacritic, and 8.8 on IMDB,

Spider-man Homecoming. Best Spider-man movie since Spider-man 2.

Marvel has not run out of ways to make their movies fun. It's just a shame that Sony kept Spiderman out of Marvel's hands for so long.

Last movie I saw in the theater was Wonder Woman—very good.

At home this weekend, my wife and I watched the original House on Haunted Hill, as well as Coma, an early Michael Douglas movie.

Just watched Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping. It is as ridiculous as you would imagine but has such an incredible musical cast and the songs are so over the top it actually isn't that bad.

Kidnap with Halle Berry.  spent most of the movie talking to the TV over every stupid move she made.

Neighbors 2: Sorority rising.  watched about 25 minutes and had enough.

It was at the top of my must-see list coming into 2017. Saw it with my wife and two male friends in IMAX/70mm format (recommended). We all see a lot of movies. All thought it was excellent.

Just rewatched Mad Max: Fury Road last night.

I still highly recommend it.
I'm bitter.

Saw the latest Spider-man. Besides some weird character changes from the original (mainly Flash Gordon and MJ) which just seemed to be for the sake of being diverse and ... that's it... it was really well done. Michael Keaton nailed it, and Spider-man himself was quite well done.

Don't know why Aunt May was so young though ???

supposedly because Peter is supposed to be younger than the last two runs of Spidey movies.  That, and it's much more believable for Tony Stark/Robert Downey to be flirting with Marissa Tomei than Sally Field or Rosemary Harris.

Now I feel silly, I should have  used ctrl+f before finishing my message. Thanks for the link that's very kind of you.

I liked what I read, made me want to watch the movie even more. I know eja is a savant on tanks, having him say Dunkirk is #2 all time is high praise.
