Hero 6 in 3d

A fun movie where a robot steals the show.   Replete with the mandatory Disney dead parents and a few other depressing, but bonding moments.  Great visuals of a San Francisco/Tokyo hybrid city.  The greatest use of 3D, but I guess I'd have to see the 2D version to see how organic it was.

Trying to go see interstellar today.  Might need a nap.first.

I just watched the movie "Boyhood'   I heard it discussed on the radio this morning and decided to watch it.

It's a coming of age movie that was filmed over the course of 12 years.  You literally watch a kid grow up (same cast the whole movie) and see him deal with the ups and downs of childhood and see how it shapes him as an adult.

The plot of the movie is fake, it's not some kind of documentary.  I really liked it.

"Edge of Tomorrow"
I don't like Tom Cruise much but I enjoyed his character and acting in this movie. I recommend it.

Bet I'm the only one on the board who can give "The Last Five Years" as his answer.  I enjoyed it.

My wife has been on a horror/scary movie kick for awhile. She wanted to watch "Ouija" the other night, so I reluctantly agreed. Absolutely horrible. Don't recommend at all. She also wants to go see "The Lazarus Effect" too. I'm pretty sure it will be just as bad, but I'm more interested in Olivia Wilde than the movie itself anyways.  ;)

One good movie in that genre that we've seen recently is "Annabelle". Don't judge it from the previews. It has so much more than that. We watched it in a theatre, and I have to tell you it was pretty effed up. Not a great storyline, but it does freak you out quite a bit. Definitely recommend it for a nightmare producer lol Watched the movie "Sinister" with Ethan Hawke recently, too, and that one is also worth a watch.
