Run, don't walk, to go see Seven Psychopaths.  Instantly one of my all time favorites.  Tom Waits and bunny rabbits...what more could you ask for?

I took my kids to see the Kevin James MMA movie ...something the Boom.  It was fun, and it had the Fonz in it.  Plus I got my first look at a Hobbit trailer on the big screen.  Really looking forward to that one.  Also saw a trailer for a Disney Oz film that looked like it might be ok.  It was only a matter of time til someone took a shot at making flying monkeys look more menacing.

Also just watched Big Fish for the however manyith time. Reestablished its position as my favorite/best movie I've ever seen. Very emotional and very personal for me and I'm not afraid to admit that I balled my eyes out because of it. With the many classic Burton oddball flicks, this one stands out as his absolute best for me.

I can't watch that movie in front of other people. I find excuses to leave the room or go cook or something. Just can't watch it in front of others, can't trust myself to keep from bawling like a baby at the end.
Very personal for me too and the one movie I think of that captures my father's spirit.

skyfall
Saw it last night with my wife. Superior Bond movie with a strong cast. Javier Bardem is a very good villain ranking with Robert Shaw at the very top.  One of the best entries in the series and hopefully Craig continues to move the series in the same vein.

Wreck it Ralph.

Ended up going to it because the girlfriend and I decided late Saturday that we had done enough studying for the day, and wanted to have a quasi night out. We went to see Flight, but that was sold out. Skyfall too.

We settled for Wreck It Ralph, and you know what? It turned out to be pretty [dang] good. I mean, It's a disney movie sure, but I thought it was actually really well done and creative. Might even have gotten alittle dusty in the theater at the end.

Sarah Silverman and John riely have really good chemistry.

I'm sure most, if not all, have seen this.  Just a very good work, IMO.

Lincoln.

Great movie, great cast, great acting, not for kids.  Sold out by an older crowd. Applause at the end.
