The Man From Earth (2007)

As one review put it, one of the most thoughtful and well written scripts put into film in ages.

A truly fascinating film that will tickle your imagination. 9/10

lol didn't say that - just like if you saw 127 (I think that's the right number) hours, I'd say the whole movie takes place ina  cave, it's pretty surreal

Skyline. It was awful, so bad I thought about setting the redbox machine on fire for selling such garbage
Still don't believe in Joe.

Just Go With It.

Typical Adam Sandler rom com.  It had some pretty funny moments, but nothing new or unexpected(although there was one 15 second clip that was really random).

The wife loved it.

Gone Baby Gone.

After I saw "The Town" I was surprised with Ben Afflecks direction capabilities, I can't say that his first movie was any worse, quite the contrary.

I can easily recommend it. I'd like to go into details, but I'm afraid to spoil anything.

Midnight in Paris. So so. Now that Woody Allen is too old to play the parts he writes for himself, he hires actors who just don't fit the bill. Owen Wilson is a funny guy, but he is not Woody Allen type.  However, not nearly as bad as Kenneth Branaugh trying to play Woody. Awful.

Heat. Which I find hilarious to tell people because it makes me think of my favorite Jim Gaffigan stand up...

"Hey, I just saw Heat!"

"Heat? I saw that six years ago."

"Yeah...But i wanna talk about it now."

"No, Loser."

It was ok, expectations were too high I think. Plus the Town is an more modernized updated version of it.
