Pi

Man was that intense.  I'm still trying to figure out what just happened.

So I guess the movie is about enjoying the little things? Or is he just dead at the end?    :-\   please help...

Due Date.

Meh.  2.5 out of 5 stars.  It wasn't bad, and I laughed at times.  I won't remember the movie 2 weeks from now.  Zach G. has his moments, but he's a one trick pony.

3rd to last: Thor (A) - 2nd best Marvel film of all time, behind Spiderman 2. I thought it was more powerful and more impactful film than Ironman, but Ironman had more entertainment value.

Hhhghgghhhhhh.

Disagree².

Iron man, imo was way better. Though right now, I don't really feel like elaborating, so this statement will have to do lol :]

Sorry!

You thought Ironman had more emotional impact?

After the first part when he left the cave in the Suit v 1.0 most of the emotion was gone from the film.

The rest of the film was filled with cool awesome and entertaining special effects.

It was a fun movie, but it lacked Thor's heart.

I like them both.  I had low expectations for both since I didn't think either character has the depth of Spiderman in the comics but Thor really impressed me with how they were able to make a connection between the main character and the mainstream audience.

I am number 4.

Came in from netflix I had no idea what it was about, but I liked the special affects in the preview so I got it. It's just about what you'd expect from a Michael Bay film.

I got no beef with special affects so it kept me entertained.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
The Highlander. I love this movie on so many levels. Allow me to count the ways:

1) Sword fighting and immortality are cool things to make a movie about.

2) Christophet Lambert is freakin cool man. He's got bad accents, and has a sloped brow like a caveman, but none of that seems to matter.

3) Clancy Brown, or as I know him, Brother Justin, is soooooooo BA as a villain here, especially when he goes all SLC Punk and shaves his head.

4) Sean. Connery. As a flamboyant Spaniard.

5) Brief scantily clad women.

6) Really camp special effects that seem cooler than CGI.

7) Classic 80's characters. "hard cop", "hard cop boss", "vulnerable but curious to the point of self endangering women".

Wow I love this movie. To the point where I wondered only once "how come they don't just light a dude up with an AK than saunter over and chop off his head".

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. I love the Narnia stuff.

Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'hoole. Pretty good, stunning visuals.

Due Date. Very funny.

Tropa de Elite. Great movie about the BOPE in Brazil. I recommend it.

Black Swan.

I was excited for this movie and often when I am excited for a movie (or hear good things about a movie) I am let down because my expectations get too high.  Not the case with this movie -- my expectations were high and it pretty much delivered.  I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Haha, this is actually the last movie I watched as well. Definitely a creepy flick that was well done all around.

Pretty much everything Aronofsky does is brilliant. I've yet to watch Black Swan but I love Pi, Requiem and the Fountain.

Blockbuster free movie a day until July 4th is nice.

I had forgotten that Aronofsky did Requiem for a Dream as well.  Portman's mother in Black Swan was eerily similar to the mother in Requiem.
