Thor.

Amusing, no more or less. Kiddy outfits that just don't look right, some lousy characters and some good ones. Thor himself, Loki & Odin are great. So is Portman and her two buddies.

But other than that, it's so-so. It gets rated highly on IMDB but I'm sure it's nowhere near Iron-man and only slightly better than Spiderman.

I saw Thor a on opening weekend in IMAX 3D--the 3D part was just a foolish waste of money, but the movie itself was a lot better than I expected. True to the comic, and tie ins all over the place (you'll see Luke Cage & Hawkeye, as well as Hulk & Ironman refs). I'm geeking out hard over the Avengers movie next year, and the Capt America and XMen FC have got me pretty amped, too.

Going to see the Hangover 2 on Sunday--will report back after.

i wanna see marvel do a flix with the beyonder..

it was the entire marvel world vs that dude..
Truth. A cool way to do it would be to do a "Secret Wars" movie. Remember those? It was like Marvel All-Stars...

Deadpool, Omega Red. That's all I want.

In case that's impossible I'll take Apocalypse.

I just watched Monsters. Pretty good movie actually. Some people might think its a little slow but I enjoyed its artistic style.

Just saw this off Netflix watch it now.  Didn't go in with much for expectations, ended was pretty impressed.  Very well done for a movie shot on a shoestring budget.

Saw Hangover 2 today. Pretty much same story line and plot to the first, but still funny. Worth checking it out, I laughed a lot. :)

I can't even remember the last movie I saw.  They mostly seem unwatchable or forgettable.    Take shallow characters, add stereotyped villains, and add CGI and that's a movie, it seems.

Last Movie: The Mechanic (B+) - pretty good action flick with entertainment value, one of Jason Stathem's better films.

2nd to last: Charlie St. Cloud (A/A-) - pretty impressed with this film and the younger actor playing the little brother Sam; decent acting from the "high school musical" alum, good story; the chick wasn't hard on the eyes either.

3rd to last: Thor (A) - 2nd best Marvel film of all time, behind Spiderman 2. I thought it was more powerful and more impactful film than Ironman, but Ironman had more entertainment value.

Hhhghgghhhhhh.

Disagree².

Iron man, imo was way better. Though right now, I don't really feel like elaborating, so this statement will have to do lol :]

Sorry!

Inside Job.
It was okay, but it had the potential to be better.  Whoever directed/produced just couldn't step away from their agenda long enough to make a deeper, more nuanced movie.

I want to see The Infinity Gauntlet put into film. I don't care if it's live action or animation. That story should be put on film.
Also, DC's Kingdom Come would be awesome to see as well.
