VS

Game 1: Friday 12/4/2009, Home 8:00PM Start
Link to Game 1 on Futurecast

Game 2: Saturday 12/5/2009. Away (Springfield), 7:00PM Start
Link to Game 2 on Futurecast

Three things about these games:

1: Maine lost preseason opener against Springfield but since then has proven to be a drastically better team, much more well rounded and solidly constructed.

2: 1st game in a Red Claws uni for Alexis Ajinca. How does he affect the rotation, how does he perform overall?

3: Red Claws just signed Mario West on 12/1. How does he fit into the guard situation?

Glad to have Ajinca around for a while, at least. Maybe it's just me, but the rebounding he should be able to provide will be a huge help. Probably far from the truth, but when I watched the last games seemed like they gave up a lot of boards.

So the Red Claws game is at 8. The Celtics game is at 8. Who is watching the red claws?

Hmm.. Both will have replays, I'll probably watch both at the same time though and try to post in both game threads.

Futurecast doesn't make archived games available anymore?

If Ajinca, Glider and West stick around for the season I think Maine has the potential to be a very good team, assuming Ainge gets them to play somewhat cohesively. At least the froncourt should be very good and getting rebounds won't be a problem anymore. Is West any good offensively? Probably not; what I remember is a guy with excellent size for a guard and who plays good defense with energy and physicality (I remember him doing a good job on Kobe). Him, Blalock and Harris can be a terrifying combo for opponent guards. If Giddens and Hudson ever join the team, they'll probably have more defence in their backcourt than most NBA teams.

I have futurecast open right now on my 46" LCD television and it can be stretched full screen.

NBALP BB loses several inches on both the left and right sides and a few inches on the top and bottom of the picture.

Anyone know if the NBA might go with the futurecast stream for NBA games so that I can watch the Celtics in full screen in the future from my home in Florida?

Really? That's a little surprising, honestly. Wish I lived further downstate. Hopefully going to a lot of the games this year, though.

It's only provisional right? I mean, they have a courtside camera but for some technical reason it isn't working and they're fixing it. I'm hoping that's the case, otherwise games will be unwatchable.

I agree.. I missed the first half an hour, and it's hard watching the game like this. Hopefully they get a courtside view back.
