Those were two really nice plays by him.

Now I know why they gave Webster that extension. [dang], kid's got ups.

That kid is definitely an athlete.

The Lakers will control the paint in that playoff series ... and the Spurs will be forced to beat LA from the perimeter, and I don't like their chances of doing that.

Chicago didn't win in the paint.  They won because Rose and Hinrich completely outplayed Parker and Ginobili.  Parker had zero points in the second half, and his offense consisted of one pathetic Euroflop after another.

It also helped that the Spurs had no one who could guard Deng.  He's too quick and too athletic for Jefferson.
First half though Chicago stayed in the game when Duncan couldn't hiss because they had 18 second half points and like 11 offensive rebounds. There points in the paint and offensive rebounding kept Chicago from being down by double digits in the first half.

Two Donaghy foul calls there.

I think K-Mart could use some more ink.

He's gold at the line though.

Should have been a no call on that KMart call. If you call the last one then you should have called one of the three others before then.

Anthony can't try to initiate the offense every time he needs to let Billups into this game. Almost this entire quarter, where the Nuggets have stagnated, the ball has started in Lawson's or Anthony's hands. Their offense just works better through Billups.

Just looked at the box score. Portland outrebounding Denver 28-13. That's an on the boards butt whooping right there.

Man, I think KMart and Birdman's tattoos just broke my hd tuner.

I agree with you on the Andre Miller thing, nick. He's on the level where he should've been named the starter on the first day of training camp. There are some players in this league where that is the case and Andre is one of them...they really invented that controversy and screwed with chemistry for no real reason. Is Steve Blake really going to have a case to play over Andre? No way!

Portland should be completely dominating this game at the moment. I'm disappointed on their overall performance at the moment. They are having trouble scoring the ball.

Possibly odd stat of the night: Oden is a +11 and Aldridge a -11.

Martell Webster is a future Hall of Fame color analyst in the NBA broadcasting booth. You heard it here first.
