The thought of a Perk/KG/Rasheed three man defensive rotation makes me giddy.

That tandem jumped out at me last night for their post defense.  I'm loving it already.

If our frontline is healthy (KG) and motivated (Sheed), this team has a very real chance to be the best defense ever.  Go ahead and marinate on that one for a little while...

Why does Sheed need to be motivated?
That sounds pretty pathetic to me.

Well, according to many, he basically quit towards the end of last year, because Detroit was so terrible.  The thought is that his performance last year wasn't due to age, but rather because he wasn't properly motivated due to the losing.

'Sheed looked RARING to go last night.  Didn't matter that it was preseason, this is a guy who's got a chip on his shoulder right now that weights about as much as Mike Sweetney.  LOVED watching his intensity already, playing for a relevant team like the C's is exactly what he needed, and I think the C's really needed him, as much for getting back that fire-in-the-belly as for his direct on-court actions.

I!  LOVE!!  RASHEEEEEEEED!!!!!
