Edited for title.

Note: This is just a prequel to the actual game...its the draft combine, where you create your player, then level him up through drills and stuff. Pretty freakin cool.

I'm always terrible at the drills.  I miss the old days of NBA Live, where you could just create a super player and make him 99 in everything, thereby having "Larry Bird" doing 360 dunks from near the free throw line.

That's a bad Roy! Bad!

Everyone knows that when making a Larry Bird-esque charcter, you don't make him able to dunk, just so when your friends complain, you can say "look, he can't dunk"

(but he doesn't miss a shot from inside the half court line....)

Sounds fun.

Live also seems to be onto something pretty big.

I like the idea of ratings supported by statistical data... to an extent.

Isn't that what they did last year with the "living DNA" thing?

Yeah that'sbeen going on for a couple of years. 2k started it with frequent roster updates, then both titles made it a "gimmick"

I bought it last night with some left over MS points I had... It's actually fairly shallow, and a little boring. Not even close to being a comprehensive RPG.

Also, I think that once you finish the game with whatever player you made, you can't go back and make another player, not cool at all.

Ok i was just watching some stuff online about the combine thing in this yeats 2K10 but what i was wondering if you don't download the package of the combine thing will you still be able to do it when the game comes out.So basically do you have to download nba2k10 combine in order to have it in the game itself?

Hold on just a second. Do you realize who the 2k 10 cover athlete is. Yes none other than Kobe Bryant. You realize the implications of having him as the cover athlete, he'll be subject to the 2k jinx

last year was KG and we know how that went.

Im feeling a lot better about the season now.
