Any superhero MMO players going to try Champions out?

See i've heard the exact opposite. I'll let you know after i get some time to play it next weekend and get some impressions.

Also worth noting is beta reviews are inherently useless. If you go back and check out some of the World of Warcraft open beta reviews (which i played in), people were convinced the game sucked, then impressed a month in.

I distinctly remember thinking hunters were going to be bad ass (they had a ton of broken pet abilities in open beta) only to have those ripped away due to balance issues at launch (some of them are just now being added back in)

For instance, apparently last night in champions at midnight they "unlocked" a ton of new stuff from the alpha build, designs, abilities and other overall substance to the game since people who pre-ordered get to hit the ground running today with the full game (non preorders have to wait till official release in 3 days)

some blog i saw estimated the unlocked content was 40-50% brand new and not seen in the beta. Tough to review a game when only half of it is up for play.
