UGK - Ridin Dirty

For 2000's it's gotta be:

Operation Doomsday by MF Doom

and also, I don't think this one was underrated, and it was released in 2000, but The Unseen by Quasimoto is another great album.  Doomsday's 1999 release made me think about this one is all.

Gangstar - Moment of truth

Love this album, but i don’t think it can be considered underrated. It’s a classic and everybody knows it.

The Low End Theory-A Tribe Called Quest

i was actually going to say Midnight Marauders (1993). Low End Theiry gets plenty of repect, but i think Midnight Marauders gets left out sometimes because of the greatness of ATCQ's first 2 albums. Marauders is not as good as Low End theory, but i think i would consider it more underrated.

100% agree on this.

I’d have to go with Inspectah Deck’s “Uncontrolled Substance” because of how overshadowed it is by every other 90’s Wu Release.

Also Mobb Deeps “Hell on Earth” is just as good as “The Infamous” but doesn’t get half the love.

Definitely jumping on the Big L bandwagon. Loved the first two albums, and the new one brings me right back to 1998.

My favorite is Organized Konfusion- Stress:The Extinction Agenda.  I have been playing this one consistenly since it came out.  I can't say that about any others from that era.

I also agree with the guys who mention Bahloon Mindstate and A Wolf in Sheeps Clothing.  These albums are amazing.  The Black Sheep one is a long one and every song is great.  I can't believe the Black Sheep dissappeared so quickly.

I love that there's some hiero heads on this board! TP. Hiero's the best hip hop crew ever in my opinion. 93 Til and No Need for Alarm, two underrated classics. (but 93 til does usually get its props when it comes real hip hop heads)

Mentioning MF Doom is an easy way to get a TP from me.
