The concept of $25 shoes was awesome
I think they were actually only $15 and when Steve and Barry's opened new stores, you could get them for $8 (yes, I actually bought mine for $8). They weren't very comfortable in the heel area, though- so I returned them and got my precious $8 back.
On a related note, I also owned Shawn Kemp's 'reign man' shoe by Reebok when he was on Cleveland (well after he couldn't really dunk anymore) and I also owned Karl Malone's L.A. Gear shoes with the 'catapult' system...
Now I just wear running shoes so that I have better agility (and I am actually an avid player, too)...geez, I guess I am pretty ghetto.
