it looks like our team is built for the next two years.  who knows if ainge will extend ray for one year, more years, or what.

looking to the 2010 draft, im looking for that sg that can come in and be waiting in the wings at sg.

i know we are 11 months out and expecting to draft very late, but this is the draft forum and its fun to look ahead.

what position do you see us looking to fill in the 2010 draft?

1. sg
2. pf
3. other?

if we went pf, i would like to see damion james (best case) or if hes gone, tasmin mitchell.  a 6-7 athletic tweener that could play a little 3 and 4.

It'll be best player available as always with Danny.

He'll be picking somewhere between 28-30.  at that point, it's get the best player still on the board.

I disagree; I think we'll go for either C or PG.  However, as others said, it'll most likely come down to whoever is the best available player.

TP.  Cs will take Best Player Available in the draft.

We could see one of our expirings go for a draft pick....John Wall could be an ok NBA player I guess  ::)

If Danny is the second coming of Red he'll find a way to hussle his way into a top draft pick which in 5 years we'll look back and say, how did he get that value for whatever it is we gave up...

I see the title being the only 2010 target.

no way, 2011 target should be Rakim Sanders or as I like to call him TA version 2.0
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

I think the 2010 draft will likely be a true best player available situation, if they don't trade the pick.  This team just needs young talent in general to help reload after the big 3 move on.  I doubt they will find someone who can help them in the current "window", so they should just look for the best player they can get, and worry about position later.  I have a feeling in 3 years, this team will be dramatically different anyways, so no need to worry about that now.

I like TA but Rakim has a higher ceiling id think. He is a much, much, better shooter than TA. Not quite as athletic but definately a plus athlete, and already one of the best defensive wings in the country.

With Rice the ballhog gone this year, Sanders is gonna have a very big year i think. 18 ppg/7 rpg ontop of shutdown defense.  Andy Katz has him on the pre-season Wooden award watch list, he obviously wont win that but id be suprised if he isnt in the ACC POY race. Yeah, i have a mancrush on him and Reggie Jackson.

As for 2010 draft target, i just hope for the last pick in the first round.
