...From Outer Space

I watched this for the first time a few months back.  I'd seen Ed Wood a few times and loved it.  Plan 9 had a whole lot of Scalabrine in it - not a good player, but you had to admire it for the sincere effort it gave.  Then after a while you just had to like it.

Anyhow, all of the "Plan" threads got me thinking of it.

As an ex-film school guy, I've seen this and many other "so bad they're good" movies several times.  You almost have to find Ed Wood's "half ***ed approach" cute to enjoy this.  Not for all tastes.

It's like The Three Stooges.  Women just don't get it, but we think it's great entertainment.

Redz,

Best part of this movie is actually the opening prologue.  Horrible.

My best friend and I were watching this the morning of his wedding.  It cracked me up.

It was bad, but they were trying SOOOO hard to make something that couldn't possibly be good, good.
