I can't believe how little respect Dave Cowens gets.  I mean, he was a league MVP, and yet people are leaving him out of their top-nine.

Jesus Christ I know huh?? What the hell guys.

"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

I can't believe the amount of disregard there is for Sam Jones and Bill Sharman while players like Pierce and Parish get mentions.

Bill Sharman was a 4 time first team All-NBA and 3 time second team All-NBA. He led the league in free throw shooting 7 times. He is one of the first guards, if not the first guard, to consistently shoot over 40% in field goal percentage while taking most of his shots from the outside. He is the NBA's first great outside shooter and a 4 time NBA champion.

Sam Jones is second only to Bill Russell for most championships won by a player with 10. He was the point guard and one of the leading scorers on those teams and 4 times averaged over 20 PPG while playing point guard and is considered one of the most clutch shooters in Celtic history. He was Ray Allen playing the point before Ray Allen was even thought of by his mom and dad.

Listen I love Cowens and Pierce and Parish but it's time to start giving Jones and Sharman their due.

I like Pierce a lot, but he's not better than Cowens (and I don't think he's better than Sam Jones, at least based upon their respective eras.)

I think Cowens is already too low. Neither Sharman nor Jones were ever the face of a championship team, or league MVP. Pierce is the face of a champion, Finals MVP, and he`s also 3rd on the Celtics` all-time scoring list.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.
