It's not looking too good that he didn't sign on the dotted line when we brought our best "pitchmen" today.  I'm not seeing him come here.

I agree --- but hope he does (even if he's a heel)
sometimes you have to bite your lip, exhale and move on.  So, I have.

Free agents can't sign until the 8th.
God bless and good night!

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Rasheed, I took sometime and drew you this picture of what WILL happen if you sign with the Celtics.

Alright, things to note..

  • Obviously, we release a new jersey
  • Sadly, Sheed's bald spot does not grow in, but he looks good in green no one notices.
  • We beat the Lakers in the Finals, probably a sweep the cystal ball is a little hazy at this second
  • Kobe Bean Bryant turns into a manac depressive after realizing he cannot beat the Celtics as a member of the LA Lakers
  • There are no lakes in LA.
  • Kobe realizes this as well, and developes an addiction to Krispy Cream Donuts, and bloats to 824 LBS, quite ironic, no?
  • Lon3lytoaster's MS Paint predictions are usually always correct.

That post was so awesome I forgot to laugh. I'm not being sarcastic. I forgot to laugh because it was so awesome. 20 Tp's.

Verbal Commitment then.  I just don't see this happening.

Your kinda right it's weird that he isn't ours already I know he can't sign but jeez say yes atleast.
I wonder if KG, Paul Pierce and Ray thought to bring a suitcase filled with cash for Sheed to make up the difference in the 8 mill he wants?

Meh, it seems like Sheed will take a few to make a decision. I hate this stuff, all the waiting for some guy to make up his mind. He has to wait until all the teams make their pitch.

I don't know if he will come here or not, but let's hope he comes to a decision soon..

Update from The Globe (and CB's frontpage) :

Quote
An NBA source said that the Celtics offered Pistons free agent F/C Rasheed Wallace a contract using the mid-level exception today during a three-hour meeting in Detroit.
