What PF is the best fit for the Celtics. Obviously the big money guys, we cant afford (Millsap, Lee, Varejeo)

1. Sheed  (We want to win now and for the money, he gives us the best chance)

2. Villanueva (Might get more with Detroit or sign MLE with Cavs)

3. Shawn Marion  (would he take the MLE to back up the 3 and 4?)

4. Drew Gooden?  (Cant cost too much)

5. Marvin  Williams?  (Versatile, only 23, Restricted)

6. Bird Man  (Cost too much?, will stay in Denver for equal money?)

7. Joe Smith/Antonio McDyess - get a vet for a year or two?

8. Hakim Warrick   (Restricted.  Could back up 3 and the 4)

9. Chris Wilcox - has shown flashes

10.  Big Baby/Powe - keep our guys.

The more I think about it, I really would like the versatility Marvin would give us.  THe Cavs talked about needing an athletic 4 to guard Rashard Lewis.  Marvin could be the 4 in a small 2nd unit, or he could backup Paul.  We didnt really have a backup 3 last year, we just went with three guards.

That might be what Ainge is doing.  In a perfect world, KG stays healthy and we dont need Skinner but for 15 minutes a game.  He could also help out at center.
