We were talking about this at work today. Phrases that have become hip to say in the world of sports in the last few years. We came up with a few:

*When talking about a young up and coming hot hitting prospect in MLB, "That guy can really rake."
*When a defensive player in the NFL makes a huge stop, "Boy he really blew that play up."
*When a GM is making a complicated trade, "they plan on acquring that player, then they will flip him to the next team."
