If this story is true, I think the sentence given to Stallworth is pretty fair.  Yes he was driving drunk, but the guy ran out in front of his car and wasn't in a crosswalk and Stallworth called right away. 

Im not excusing the fact that he was drunk, but again as shown on this blog many posters here have admitted to driving drunk and I feel as though this could happen to anyone of them.  Seems like Stallworth did everything he could by calling for help right away and also accepting responsibility by cooperating with authorities and paying the victims family.
