I'd guessing his sophomore year.

Much longer than that. I'll just go ahead and say never.

He'll need to beat out Devin Harris, Rondo, Jameer, and Mo Williams. I don't see that happening in just two years.

I'll give it at least 4 years, maybe more.  As good as he is right now, I don't think he's ready to face high caliber point guards night after night.

FYI. I was kidding about the Sophomore thing.

I do think he is the best PG in the draft though. I've been following him since "Gunnin for that #1 Spot."

I dont know if he ever will. I think he's still a big question mark.

If he was capable of being an all star his sophomore year, he would have been drafted #2 overall.

I'll just go ahead and say never.

Ditto, especially with the young talent that is already in the league at the guard position.

it worries me that he struggled in for all intents and purposes, a slightly tougher D-league in Europe.

yeah, i'll be in shock if he is on a roster in 2 years, could be wrong but to me that was the strangest pick of the night

With Rondo, Harris, and Rose battling it out for the next ten years, I'll say his chances are close to zero.

Lets see....

drafted by the Bucks, so his team will never be successful. That's a blow to his chances.

Then there's:

Derrick Rose
Rajon Rondo
Jameer Nelson
Devin Harris

his chances don't look good. I'm gonna say never or once.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Never. The only that he has going for him is hype.

Same year as Sebastian Telfair.

I think the better questions is how long before the book and the movie come out that goes with all the hype.  Instead of Through The Fire and The Jump, maybe we can have Back to Europe and The Mis-Timed Jump.
