Can somebody explain these selections to me?

Rubio makes sense...I'm pretty surprised he fell to #5 but that's great for the Wolves I guess but...why Flynn?

I guess he was the best player left on the board at that point but are they really gonna have a starting backcourt of two point guards?

Best way to make good trades is by overloading on a position.

Yeah, but supposedly they're keeping both of them.

Any chance they actually do that?  I doubt it.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a trade with the Knicks to get a SG and pieces in return for Rubio.  Or maybe some other team that really wants Rubio.

Why didn't they take Curry?  Didn't they just trade Mike Miller? I thought they could use a shooter, especially a potential elite one.

i don't see the problem. Sure, they may make a trade, but Minny is building for the future. Both are young, with Rubio being very young. They're not seriously gunning for a playoff run next year. PG's can take a few years to develop, and the odds of a pick living up to his hype is what, 20%? Neither is a sure thing, why not double the odds of getting your starting PG for the next 10 years? and if both work out, make a trade.

I thought they were going with Curry myself.

I hope they trade Flynn.

I want to see Curry play the point, I was happy he didn't end up at the two guard spot in Minnesota.

Yeah, with what was left at that point I felt sure they'd go with Curry.  It's too bad for them Harden didn't fall to five because Flynn and Harden or Curry and Harden would've been a backcourt with a lot of potential.

Yea I was sure Rubio was the guy they wanted and didn't expect him to fall to 5. When I saw Flynn go 6th I figured it was for someone else. Espn say the may be looking to trade Rubio? I would think they'd trade Flynn before Rubio.

I'm lost as well. I'd be suprised if one of them doesn't get traded.

Yeah..the rumor now is Nate Robinson plus Hill for Rubio?  The Wolves would have the smallest starting backcourt in the league...haha.  I guess that would give them a fairly stacked front court rotation, though.

I like the Minnsota Celts. It would be stupid if they do that trade. Hills garbage Robinson is a ball hog not to mention the small back court.

If someone's traded, it's gonna be Rubio
