Posting this now.  Unfortunately, I won't be available to run real time updates on this tomorrow night.  My hope is that another one of the mods will be able to update it as the picks come in.

I'd really like to see the celtics draft Tony Gaffney out of UMASS.  I've watched this kid play ball since we just little kids and you always knew he would do something good with his talent.  At 6'8 Tony's really grew into his talent.  Almost carried his highschool team to a state championship his senior year and went on to play a few years at BU before transfering to UMASS.  His height forced him into playing a lot of PF/C in college but has the speed and lateral quickness to guard just about any position on the floor.  3rd in blocked shots last year and top 20 in rebounds.  One of a very few crop of players to have at least 100 blocks and 50 steals in a season.

The kids an absolute fire cracker on the defensive end and never really got the chance to showcase his talent in college.  I can really see Tony becoming a great role player on this team at the 3 and 4 spots.  I really see him in the mold of Tayshaun Prince.  The kid always works hard and has a ton of energy, great motor and a good head on his shoulders.  Not to mention he'd love to play for his hometown team.  The only real nack on the kid is he weighs about 50 pounds soaking wet, but he's tough as nails and with the right trainers im sure he can put on some NBA weight.

Dick Vitale needs a diazepam. College hoops is awesome, but not that awesome.

why do they give them 5 minutes when they've had a month?

They need to turn Stu Scott's mic down a little. Did Van Gundy and Mark Jackson both say that Zach Randolph was good? Portland got better after he was gone. The Knicks too. The only reason why I can see the Clips trading for him is b/c they think that when they trade him away they'll get better.  :P

I don't think the best college players should have to keep going to Memphis and the Clippers and the Bucks, Minnesota, etc. Why do sucky organizations get rewarded every year?
