JR Giddens and Tony Allen

for

Sean Williams and Jarvis Hayes

To me, it appears like a pretty even deal with Williams getting a chance to backup Perkins and Hayes being a little more versatile overall.

Either that or JR Giddens/Gabe Pruitt for Williams and a 2nd rounder?

  • Rondo = Good
The only backup guys on the Nets roster I'm interested in are Keyon Dooling and Bobby Simmons.

I wouldn't mind having Josh Boone too.  He'd be a good backup to Perkins.

People want him because he is an absolute freak.  And many people on this blog so him straight up embarass people at Boston College.  I for one am definitly weary of Sean on my team again however.  My roomate from school worked at his apartment building in Jersey and said he always looked high.  And we also know hes got a bad history at BC.  So I dont know I think he just a huge tease with his potential talent.  Basically a tall defensive Gerald.

I'd do it but only because if we trade Tony Allen for air that I think we are upgrading this team. besides watching KG ****-slapping Williams around during a practice is going to make for great television as a story coming out of the Celtics Waltham facility in the doldrums of February.

Down goes Williams! Down goes Williams!!

Everything we've ever heard about the kid is that he's not mature enough to handle being an NBA player.

Also it should be pointed out that despite his defensive "potential", he is a terrible defender.

You guys are really high on this Sean Williams guy. The reason I would do this trade if for jarvis hayes. I think he is Pierce's size and a good shooter. And if williams can play Center its might be a plus. But always be weary of him.

I would love this trade. It is zero risk and all upside for us. Sean Williams has the potential to be an all time shot blocker. And he is no more of a malcontent that Mafia-angering Tony Allen. The only difference is that Sean Williams has a chance to be better where as we all know that Tony Allen has reached his ceiling. Plus Jarvis Hayes could be the back up wing we need.

And it is a deal that I believe NJ would consider.

The only person who is really high in this thread is probably Sean Williams.

He got arrested for being violent with a mall cell phone vendor people! He also can't even bother to show up on time for practice, games, or anything. Physical tools aren't enough to carry you in the NBA.

Cuz they want to get rid of Williams and they need perimeter defense, the only legit skill on TA's resume that we can sell.
