I'm getting a lot of grieve for suggesting that Marbury Replacing Rondo. But that's not the case, If we can get a player the caliper of Rudy Gay 4 Rondo then Why not? Celtics fans are crazy to think that Rondo is better than Rudy Gay.

Gay is decent but Rondo is way more valuable then Gay. How long have we been trying to get a solid pg for? Ask Atlanta the same question. Rondo might be the most valuable guy on the Celts. Had he went down, not KG we woulda lost alot more games.

Nope, Rondo is a much better player than Rudy Gay.

Although, I expect the Grizzlies would disagree with that.

I really like Rudy Gay a lot.  However, I wouldn't trade Rondo for him straight up.  Rondo fills a position of need, and could fill it for the next decade.

Rondo for Gay + the #2, I'd do.

Rondo for Gay + Conley, I'd think about, and probably do.

Rondo for Gay, I pass.

I'd like to see the Grizzlies play him more at the 2 and some at the three. I'd like to see how does defensively against smaller players, because he ain't much good against forwards. His rebounding is weak for a power forward, mediocre or slightly below par for a three.

Of course, that won't happen because of OJ Mayo. But I'd like to see it, I'd be interested in how he did there.

That's pretty much where I stand.  I'd particularly take Gay and the #2.
