BOS Sends Rondo, Perkins, Scalabrine, TA, Giddens
BOS Gets Rubio, Gasol, Outlaw, Jaric

POR Sends Outlaw
POR Gets Conley

MEM Sends Gasol, Conley, Jaric
MEM Gets Rondo, Collison, Scalabrine, TA

OKC Sends Rubio, Collison
OKC Gets Perkins, Giddens

I think Portland does this without question. Memphis probably does this because they are bringing in Thabeet and get a major upgrade at pointguard; plus they aquire a starting power forward and save $7.6m on Jaric's final year.

OKC pulls the trigger because Rubio dublicates Westbrook, and we all know what kind of toughness and leadership a guy like Perk could bring to that roster.

Finally, why the hell are we trading Rondo and Perkins for Rubio and Gasol? Granted, Outlaw is a huge bench upgrade, but Jaric is dead weight. Boston does this if Ainge believe's three things: 1) Rubio will be better than Rondo. 2) Gasol is better than Perkins. 3) Boston can aquire Kidd or Miller to bridge the gap until Rubio is ready.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
I don't think this trade would make us better, and I don't think any of the fans would want to see Rondo and Perk shipped out, especially for a couple of relatively unproven prospects.  Outlaw would be a nice bench player, but no thanks.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

  • Rondo = Good
Yeah, it makes us better in the future...maybe.

The only proven commodity coming our way in this trade is Outlaw, and he's not worth it.  Rubio is a big question mark and Gasol is still a relatively large one compared to Perkleton's solid defensive consistency and steadily improving offensive game.

I would love to get Outlaw this offseason, but not in this fashion.

Way too many "what ifs" or "unknowns" going in Boston's direction.

Not a good philosophy for a team built to "win now".

Gasol would be a big downgrade on defense. His offense is nice but I think we need Perk's D more. And I'd rather have Conley over Outlaw. Travis is an interesting player but really inconsistent.
