What if Dick Vitale's dad hadn't banged Tommy's mommy?

What if the balloons hadn't been in the rafters for Bill Russell to see?

What if we drafted Tim Hardaway instead of Michael Smith and then John Amaechi instead of Junior Burrough?

My father wouldn't haven't whined for many years about how we could have had Hardaway.  He was peeved from day one about that.

What if Red went to the Knicks like he threatened.

What if Johnny Most took a job elsewhere.

What if Jeff was a New Jersey fan and started Netsblog instead.

I always envisioned Larry, Kevin and the Chief walking through that door, grabbing Pitino, walking back out that door with him in tow, and then after some loud noises and screams having Larry, Kevin and Chief walk back through that door like the Ghostbusters saying:

"We came. We saw. We kicked his ass!!!!!"

And then everyone breaking out into applause!!

If Russell was not injured his second year in the leaugue and had played in the playoffs, if Havliceck was not injures in the 1973 playoffs where the K nicks beat us in the east, if McHale , Parrish, and WALTON were not injured in 1987, or if Reggie Lewis had been used in the finals even then we wpould have won, our count would be at least twenty one championships because this year we would have won as well if everyone was healthy.

It would only work if Ray Parker joined them and burst into song at just the right moment.

What if Pierce didn't survive the stabbing?
What if Toine never got fat?
What if Gerald Green actually lived up to the hype?
What if TA never went up for that dunk and blew out his knee?
What if the Celtics didn't win it all last year?

That's one I care not to spend much time thinking about.

What if we drafted TMac and kept Billups?
What if we didn't trade Brandon Roy for Telfair?
What if we kept Joe Johnson?
What if Paul Pierce didn't get that loose ball in game 7 against cleveland?
What if Pierce didn't come back from the knee sprain in the Finals?
What if KG came back this year?
What if Larry Bird's back wasn't so bad?

What if Mark Cuban bought the Celtics instead of the Mavs?

I'd have a strong urge to kill a child.
