'Kung Fu' & 'Kill Bill' star David Carradine has been found dead in a hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, according to his manager.

It appears to be a suicide.

What was your favorite role for David Carradine?

I never watched Kung-Fu, so I hate to say it but for me its gotta be Bill. He was charismatic, believable, drew my sympathy, I mean just a fan freakin tastic performance.

It is truly sad that he's gone.

Loved Kung Fu the show and Caradines performance too, even though it was written for Bruce Lee. Also one of the few shows to pull off a 'next generation' show without being completely terrible

The latest news reports are awkwardly sad regarding this story.

It appears as if he didn't commit suicide, rather died in an elaborate form of pleasuring one self.  In high school I knew of a kid who, sadly, died the same way.

My brush with fame...David Carradine & Bruce Dern during the filming of "Chatham" the movie.  My old shop wsa used as the post office for Chatham circa 1920.



He hung out in my shop for a couple of hours in between shots.  He told me the same story several times, and did his best to live up to his oddball image.

By night he made my wife despise him by getting sauced and acting "above the law" at the restaurant where she manages.

As an actor, I always enjoyed his quirkiness though.  Just a couple of weeks ago I caught on his finer performances in Death Race 2000 (a masterpiece of campiness!)
