A.  Didn't see that coming from Rafer Alston tonight.
B.  Delonte rules.  He's so confident and hard-nosed and scrappy.
C.  Howard needs coaching, tho' those 3 dunks to start OT were nice.
D.  The King didn't seem to get many bailout calls tonight.

Not a techincal on Howard.  Techincal on Mo for shooting and missing yet argueing and screaming all the way down the court on a shot he missed.

Yeah, that T was weak.  Players on both teams did worse things tonight.

BTW, see Alston's face when he went to argue a foul and the ref told him that it wasn't a foul?  Think it was the second quarter.  Hysterical.  Even cracked up my girlfriend, which isn't easy.

So when he trips forward right into Pietrus and gets a call to let the Cavs tie the game with .5 seconds left, you don't think that was enough?

Nothing better than seeing LeBron trying to get himself 3 foul shots with a 2-foot flop, and not getting the call. The madness had to stop somewhere.

Yeah, I was very happy that the refs finally got some sense.  I was almost certain that jump ball was going to be 2 free throws.

That play is exactly why I said he didn't get "many calls."  I agree that should have been a no call, LeBron fell down all by himself.

Hey Koz, congrats on the 100 TPs!

I love tivo.

Tripping is not allowed. Definitely a blocking foul on Pietrus.

Wasn't a foul on Pietrus, Lebron fell, no foul call.

I'm shocked the magic are winning. makes me feel better about the celts' effort. i think the magic may just be better than i expected - if playoffs are about matchups this team is a nightmare with size and shooting at the 2,3,4 combined with a monster inside and a way better than expected run from alston. houston gave him up for what again?

So when LeBron simply falls forward into Pietrus, it's a blocking foul?  Sorry, no.  Pietrus didn't trip him.  He stayed in front of LeBron the whole time and LeBron either purposefully tripped forward or lost his balance.  Either way, it's not a foul that should have been called, especially not at that point in the game.  With no time flat left on the clock and potential game-tieing free throws to come, you don't call anything but a clear cut foul, and that was nowhere close to a clear cut foul.

"star18 is on the side of the 'not a trip' what does that say?" That's an easy one.  I watch basketball not Tony Kornheiser.

The Magic stayed healthy in a year not many teams were competing.

The Cavs were definitely coddled by the refs all year and not ready for a series like this.

And I think the league was pretty shocked when we layed an egg in game 7. They thought they could handicap the C's by letting other teams play rougher defense, let teams beat on them, stretch every playoff series, and it would never stop them.
