See, this game is an excellent example for those who say that a big free throw differential implies that the refs are favoring one team more than the other.
The Nuggets have something like 10 more free throw attempts than the Lakers in the first half. Is that because of some anti-Lakers conspiracy (on their own court)? No. It's because the Nuggets are aggressively attacking the hoop and rebounding, much more so than the Lakers are doing thus far. The Nuggets are getting to the line a lot, but they deserve to be there.
(Now, if the Nuggets would only *make* their FTs, they'd be on to something.)
