We can discuss all the testing we want but the NBAPA will never allow more stringent testing be put into the CBA and the owners really don't care if the players are using PED's and will never ask for more stringent testing. So does it really matter if there is a urine test for HGH or not because I'm convinced ownership could care less if the players are on HGH.

True. As I've started by saying, it's all about the fans. Without public pressure, they simply won't care.

I care.

Why don't you?
God bless and good night!

You do? What have you done to show that?

I think this is the key.  Its not about whether the fans care, it is about whether they care enough to force a change...and honestly, if you look at the numbers, and who the most popular players are, it would appear that the fans prefer players who may be on PED's.

If the NBA fans, can't motivate the NBA to even consider fixing the clearly broken officiating, I find it hard to believe that they are going to even come close to forcing changes regarding PED's.

Well, the timing is certainly right.  Remember back when you first saw this kid play, everyone said the same thing, "Looks like a grown man for a 17 year old".

That was six or seven years ago, right smack dab in the heart of the steroid era in every other sport we've seen.

I would shocked if he didn't get at least one cycle in during high school.

Makes sense. I wonder what causes this sort of growth, and how common it is.

hmm...interesting.

im sure this will not help to quiet the people who accuse him of steroids, since they'll say implies he had a steroid-related cyst or something like that

I am researching this.  Hopefully you medical experts can explain the meaning of this quote for us all:

"Like normal glands, neoplastic salivary glands are also hormone-dependent with increased steroid metabolism. [22–23]"

What does this mean?

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Quote from: ESPN
LeBron James was playing with a health issue through the end of the season and the playoffs that has now been taken care of.

The Cleveland Cavaliers star underwent successful surgery on Tuesday at Cleveland Clinic to remove a benign growth in his mouth, the team said. Specifically, Dr. Frank Papay performed a five-hour procedure on James' parotid gland, which produces saliva. Surgery for such conditions often takes time because of the numerous nerves and blood vessels in that area of the jaw.

The procedure was first reported by ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard.

The Cavaliers released a statement saying doctors were "pleased with the outcome of the procedure, and at this time, are confident that no further treatment will be needed as LeBron is expected to make a full and complete recovery."

James and his family have been aware of this medical issue for several months but, with the clearance of the treating doctors and medical staff, decided to wait until the conclusion of the Cavaliers season to undergo the procedure.

Is this whats up with the huge lump on Lebron's Jaw?

Same here. Now, all they have to do is find

Lebron James, ball player. A man barely alive. Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world's first bionic basketball player. Lebron James will be that man. Better than he was before. Better, stronger, faster.
