u forgot AI maybe we could get artest and id like AI if starbury leaves but before anybody says anything i have reasons dump TA and some others for a player who can play d and score when he needs too AI's not done. give him about 26 mpg and he'll score alot off the bench

You haven't paid attention to him this year in Detroit, have you?

It's not happening.

thing is he came off the bench with a bad back and he only got 16 mpg give him 12+ more and he'll put up about 16 ppg

The guy is more of a cancer than we all feared Starbury could potentially be. That is DEFINITELY not a guy who will accept coming off the bench, and he sure wouldn't start for us.  VERY bad idea...

Rondo/Pruitt
Allen/House
Pierce/Ariza/Walker
Garnett/Davis
Perkins/Nesterovic

that would get it done.

As for Udoka, though, I can't see him getting any big offers.  I could be wrong, though.
I agree. I expect to see Udoka available for a minimum contract. He'd be a good signing. Good fourth or fifth wing in the rotation, and good insurance should Giddens/Walker continue to stutter.

That does not get it done...

Ariza isn't coming here either. No way he leaves LA, and if so definitely not coming to Boston. Nesterovic is your big signing?! Pass...

You'd need a fifth big at some point.

i wouldn't mind seeing Rasho come off the bench for Boston, especially if being paid the vet min.  Sounds like Ariza will be back with LA (or wherever he ends up, not Boston).  But a player with his skillset would be great.

I'd like to see Hill and McDyess in green. If we can get those guys, Big Baby becomes expendable. If possible, Powe would be nice to keep around for the minimum. He would be a low risk high reward player if he can come back healthy.

If they Celtics go cheap, Nesterovic and Udoke for the vets minimum would be fine.

Yeah, from a fan's point of view I think these types of low cost options are smart to consider.  Let's be realistic and realize that Artest, Bibby and Sheed won't be willing to split the MLE to come here.

I've got a feeling Sheed or McDyess are coming to Boston this summer. There's no way they'll stay in Detroit after this train wreck of a season. They can make a big impact on this team and get 1 more title. We'll see...

I also think Bill Walker is gonna be our backup 3 next year.

I'd still like the team to take a strong look at: Hill, Sczcerbiak, A Parker, Ross, Udoka, Barnes (some of those are just insurance options).

And I have a feeling Marbury will come back cheap. I get the feeling he really likes this team, and wants to make a title run with KG.

we could be looking at:

Rondo/Marbury/Pruitt
Allen/House/Giddens
Pierce/Walker/Allen
Garnett/Davis/Powe
Perkins/McDyess/Scal

Not much of a change. Powe should come back cheap due to his injury. And Davis is a wild card... I'm hoping no one out there is willing to give him more than $10/3.
