Dear Celticsblog commenters,

I love you.

For a year now, I've been part of this community. At first as an avid reader and follower of this blog (aka.: a lurker ;D) and later as a member that replied to blogposts and forum threads.

Now that we've gone (albeit stumbling) into the playoffs, this merry gang of fans has remained critical towards just about anything related to basketball, without becoming Statler and Waldorf-like in our commentary. Also, we try to refrain from using harsh language and although (slightly?) biased, I think we do a good job at retaining a certain level of self-knowledge as well as self-criticism.

Yes, this is a somewhat self conceited -if not arrogant- post, but my recent foray into the blogs of other ballclubs has tought me that there's no place like home.

.ps: I was going to name the other blogs, but suffice to say that compared to some other blogs... well, let's just say our habits and manners can be a bit more mature than theirs ;)

.edit: fixed link.

Chuckle. The OP reads like one of those complaint generator responses.

It actually started out as a post where I was going to rip the guts out of some other blogs, but that didn't fit the overall feeling of peace and serenity I get while visiting CB ;)

har har.

But I can see how it strikes you as one of those :] Oh well :)
