Nick Adenhart, a promising 22 year old right handed pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels was killed early this morning in a hit and run accident in Los Angeles. Nick had just pitched six scoreless innings in a loss to Oakland hours before. Very sad story here, this kid was supposed to be the real deal and after last night appeared to be delivering on some of his immense potential. At least there'ssome measure of justice since they caught the guy responsible. Hope he does years of hard time.

RIP Nick Adenhart 1986-2009  :'(

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
2nd death of the season relating to the Angels so far.  Going to be a tough season for them.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

I'm glad they caught the suspect.  I have no idea what the law in California is, but I hope he gets the maximum sentence.

Glad they caught the suspect.
But unfortunately, it doesn't
bring him back. Sad.

He'll defenitly get the maximum, which is ironic because if you hit an athelete you get maximum, if an athelete hits you he gets minimum.

Feel very sorry for the Family and the Angels.

KungPowe just likes to troll my posts.  Don't expect it to make sense.

Obviously, there is nothing "wrong" about giving the maximum sentence to a drunk guy -- who was driving on a suspended license due to a previous DUI conviction -- who blows through a red light and kills multiple people.
