I get the sense from the board that most believe this will be a close game ending in a loss.  I was surprised when I looked on espn and saw that Streak for the Cash has the Cs as a 53% favorite and that Accuscore has the Cs as a 60% favorite!
Here's to hoping that the Cs pull out an unlikely win tonight.  Ray and the back up bigs are going to be key.

Don't think you can discuss a game against the Cavs without bringing up the officiating. Most of their games resemble WWE matches, in terms of being so ridiculously biased, corrupt and unfair because of David Stern's crush on Lebron. In disputing this claim, Cavs fans often say that most stars in the NBA get calls like Queen James does. While true to a certain extent (no one gets nearly as many calls as he does), the difference is that this bias extends to the entire Cavs team. Every rebound an opponent gets, Varejao slaps their arms a couple times right away, and it's never called. He and Z are constantly over the back, but it's never called. And if any player for the Cavs attempts to take a charge, they get the call, no matter what. If you put Varejao and/or Z on Charlotte's team, they wouldn't last 5 minutes without fouling out. Those guys are both garbage, but only look decent because they play for the Cavs.

If the officiating is even close to legit tonight, and we get a few role players to step up, I like our chances. The Garden should be rockin...it'd be a huge psychological advantage to beat them without KG.

I will make one guarantee for tonight's game. If we win, Stuart Scott will be sobbing uncontrollably all night long. I'm so sick of ESPN's disgusting lovefest with the Cavs and Queen James. You'd think THEY were defending champs, not us...let's do this!

i expect cleveland to get every call and i expect a late call makes the difference in the game. side show bob is the master of the flop and i expect perk to be in early foul trouble...we need allen an pierce to stay out of foul touble and we need marbury to score some points on boobie gibson

Get yourselves mentally ready for the LeBron lovefest. I hate ESPN.

I wonder how this match up would play out with even reffing? The Spurs game was one of the few this year where we played a contender and the officiating was even. Good game too, except for it being a loss.

I'm pretty sure Tommy hates Eddie Rush so that does not help.

TP for the links.  Very informative, especially the team by team stats.

Sadly, they don't make me feel better about our chances.

This is true and one of the few games I wasn't mad as hell afterward, even thou it was a loss.

That's too bad... Rush is the only one of the three with a foul margin that favors the home team, the other two tend to favor the visiting team.

A key factor is whether or not Mr. J. Shuttlesworth can get to the open spot vs D_West and Wall_E-- and drop 'em in. If he can, the C's have a shot. If not...

On a related note, will Wall_E and West be hittin' or brickin'?

How many times will we have to see Lebron's commercials tonight?
