I admit to already liking mikki but i would rather him than drew gooden. i simply would not want gooden for free. i think his attitude sucks, he dogs it when his team is down sometimes. i went to a game last year where the c's were embarassing the bulls and gooden  PURPOSELY had himself ejected. i'm happy if the cavs acquire him. he's a chump. although i was saying that about lamar odom for like 2 years and now he ain't playin' so chump- like anymore.

I think the surprise buyout is going to be Gooden. Which really isn't that surprising, we just hadn't heard about it yet.

Is Joe Dumars' hate for the Celtics that bad, that he would waive Sheed at the deadline after we have all our roster spots filled? God forbid Sheed goes to the Cavs or the Lakers. Danny would have to tell Gabe to hit the bricks and swoop in and snag Sheed. I think Sheed would pick the Celts cause he and KG are friends.

They could cut Pruitt, they would have an excuse now after the dui.
Not saying I don't like Pruitt or think he should be cyt, I am just trying to put it out there!

The Pistons are still the 7th seed and in the playoffs. They are also a single strong winning streak from the 5th seed. No way he waives Rasheed just to save some money when they could potentially make the second round of the playoffs. That would make the fans happy and the owners more money anyways.

I think Sheed being bought out is a pipedream. No way that happens. Joe Smith very probably, Gooden maybe, then guys like Adonal Foyle, Brian Skinner or Chris Mihm. Rasheed Wallace? McDyess? Boozer? Any good player from a playoffs team? I really don't see stuff like that happening.

I wonder if we are in on this, man it is killing me. Could you imagine Sheed here if it is him?

Imagine in if its Luc Mbah a Moute from Milwaukee!!! It all adds up, last year of his contract, team's going nowhere, and who has more name recognition than him?

just to give some realism, I'm putting out a list of UFAs (At fwd) for this summer who are on non-playoff teams:

Juwan Howard
Chris Mihm
Adonal Foyle
Rodney Carney
Sheldon Williams
Stromile Swift
Chris Wilcox
Malik Rose
Desmond Mason
Joe Smith
Robert Swift
Grant Hill
Matt Barnes
Calvin Booth
Drew Gooden
Cedric Simmons
Shawn Marion
Etan Thomas

Slim Pickings, but a few names, Marion would be a huge surprise, and would have to be a wink wink nudge nudge deal if it happened

Here is real GM's page on the surprise,.

So are they saying that Cleveland knows who this surprise player is but no one else does? ???
