boston cannot string together 2 stops defensively...making a scrub like murphy look great

Troy Murphy is white, must be a scrub.

race has nothing to do with it.

wow.....refs just giving calls to the pacers

That's whats so frustrating. Celtics are definitely getting shafted on the road so I'd expect that they'd at least get  competent reffing at home.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

I can't believe how severely the Pacers are out-rebounding Boston: 32-20.  Troy Murphy has 10 already.... Troy Murphy!!

Yeah, one of the best rebounders in the league.. go figure!

Why exactly people assume Murphy is a bad rebounder?
Because he has a reputation for being soft, that's why.

The guy's a walking double double. How does that make him soft? The guy's always in the paint banging around.

Not happy with their inability to pull away when they get a lead.

Refs are killing us on these offensive fouls/blocking fouls.

Yes, he is a walking double double, and yes he always has been good at rebounding.  I was hoping Perkins would outrebound him.
And yes he is known as being soft -- or at least being unathletic.  Trust me, people in the Bay Area were happy to see him traded away from the GSW.
And no, it has nothing to do with race.
Celtics fan for life.
