I thought Glenn was joking in the pre-game interview when he talked about putting Starbury and Mikki in there at the same time so nobody would know what the plays were.

Having said that, at least he looks like he's in shape.

13-0 run. I hope the days of opponents getting back in the game with the bench out there are coming to swift end.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

  • Thank you Eddie!
Guess Moore should be our new human victory cigar... he's been awful.  Could be overreacting, though.

Seems brutal, but it is not surprising given that there are two new guys out there (one of whom hasn't played pro basketball in one year).  I just hope the learning curve is quick...

why was pierce the starter left with the 2nd unit? isnt it that ray is the one who is hot and pierce has some thumb issues?

Doc is a genius, he likes to be a step ahead of the other team and confuse the heck out of them....

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Rondo isn't playing very good basketball right now.

Maybe Marbury is on his mind.

Giving up too many offensive rebounds.

He's having trouble scoring on TJ, which isn't unheard of for him, so instead he has 8 dimes at the half. Doesn't seem that troublesome.

Pacers, you just got Rondo'd.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

why is rondo so passive? the second unit struggled a bit due to new parts...but boston isn't playing good defense and not D up the perimeter

Rondo is not being aggressive enough. He needs to take those jumpers the Pacers are giving him. They're packing the paint and stopping penetration by sagging off him. The three at the end was nice and we're going to need more mid-range shooting from him.
