What if this is a career ending injury?

What if we chill out a bit and cross that bridge when we come to it?

what if a falling toliet from space hits Pierce as he gets off the plane today? (tp for anyone who gets that TV referance)

  • The good ole days.
A little piece of me just died reading this thread...

And if you think any injury that allows KG to feel good enough to warm up 20 minutes later could be career ending.... then you just don't know anything about the man.

He will be back.  End of discussion.

that reminds me: my sister-in-law recently got married. one of the groomsmen had a cast on his arm.
turns out he broke his arm when, while reaching for the toilet paper, he fell off the toilet...

uh... I highly highly doubt it's career ending. He didn't land on anyone and he was still walking. That guarantee's he'll be okay... the question is when.

While I also dont think this is a career ending injury, the fact he walked if says little to nothing about the severity of the injury.

Tom Brady walked off the field and down a set of stairs when his knee got 'blowed up', so I dont think you can look at the fact he walked off as a guarantee of anything.

I dont know if the Boston weather makes people feel this way, But I am sure glad I am not living there at the moment! K.G. will be ok even if he is out 4 weeks & certainly not career ending. Like Drew Rosenhaus would say "NEXT QUESTION"! You OVER REACTION is similar to a Manu Ginobili "FLOP".

What really scares me is that over the next few weeks we have to play Denver, Cleveland, Detroit, and Orlando. I'd feel very unconfident going into those games without KG. The even scarier thing is that we could fall as low as the 3rd seed in the east if KG isnt back soon.  :-X Bad thoughts  :-X

We can live with KG out for a month, lately he's been bit incosistent anyway. I'd be more worried if Pierce went down, thats basically ripping the heart out of the team.

An inconsistent KG is still better than any other big man on the team, though, by a wide margin.
