Suns must really wish they moved Amare now. Looks like we will be seeing a lot of Shaq in the post.

My guess is any trade involving Amare would've been rescinded due to this eye problem. I think they'll be back next year. Not sure how they're gonna run their SSOL offense with Shaq now though. Pity.

Just heard on WEEI that Amare Stoudemire is out for the season with an retina (eye) problem?  I think they said he had surgery on his eye.  Anyone else hearing this?

Edit:  Sorry I didn't see the other thread about this.

At least for Sunday, this offsets the loss of KG.  Although, perhaps Scal would've shut him down again.  :)

Sunday's game just got a lot harder to hype up.

Tough break for Amare and the Suns. Their season could only have gotten better after firing Porter.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

My question: Who is going to replace Amare in their lineup?
The only color that matters is GREEN

Robin Lopez has been atrocious so far this season. The only big that has shown himself to be somewhat capable is Louis Amundson. It'll be interesting to see how he handles more minutes though because ideally a low minute high energy player.

The Suns have one of the worst collections of backup big men in the NBA. This loss will be doubly difficult for them.
