I'd rather have Moore than Smith.  He is a better defender and a true Center.  Smith is a pf who's game is about scoring, we don't really need that.

We will in the playoffs.  Smith can play D for what it's worth.  Moore is one of those Camby (see: help D) type defenders.  More of a KG than a Perk.

We need a beefy backup in the frontcourt.  We all know Perk's shoulder is going to fall off again by the end of the year.

I'd rather Smith or Mihm, but either of them and Moore are not mutually exclusive (barring financial concerns).

Smith is a better defender. A better individual defender, an exponentially better help-defender, a better shot-blocker. He's also a better rebounder and a better scorer.

I could live with Moore, but Joe Smith is on another level.

I don't think so.  It was announced that they were going to buy him out, but they hadn't bought him out yet.
