TP!  For all of the great things that have happened on the floor this year, that was absolutely one of the highlights of the year.

I don't know if its been mentioned on this thread but CBS is reporting the conditional pick is for 2015.  Any good sleepers for `15 out there?

My girlfriend's sister just had twins. One of the two could turn out to be something special. Def worth keeping an eye on.

I don't know-- the Celtics traded Darius Songaila for Brandon Hunter and Orien Greene.
I think Sacramento won that trade.

When a team waives someone, does it take a certain amount of time for that player to clear waivers?  If that's the case, it may be why Danny had to trade Cassell.  If it takes something like 48 hours for a waiver request to go through, Danny may have needed to deal Cassell today so that he could be down to 14 players in 2 days at the deadline.

That could explain why he just didn't waive Cassell, Roy's financial reason aside.

Suprised by this move. Hope its a precursor to something bigger and better.

So who's going to get techs from the bench now?

Part of me says Tony Allen screws up this trade as I think it was the first part of something bigger and think it would have involved him.

Another part of me says that the Celts must have known TA was hurt and still pulled the plug on the deal, so perhaps he wasn't part of the assumed "next step".

I think this is probably right.  I think it is also highly likely that DA doesn't necessarily have a specific trade in mind, he is just trying to create options...
