Utah has missed, or had blocked so many shots in the paint so far.

Didn't like the second foul call on Rondo. Still, good start for us.

Deron Williams and the Jazz really seemed to make it a point to get rondo into early foul trouble

Doc is always a better coach when he does not have as many bench choices.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

That second foul on Rondo was complete BS ... moving screen on Utah.  I KNEW he'd get in early foul trouble vs. Deron Williams - absolutely KNEW it.  Go Gabe!

Same thing I would do if I were facing Rondo.

Defense and rebounding look good to start, offense not so much

Utah looks horrible so far, amazing what a little rest can do for the best team in the NBA.

He might be a little trigger happy...but Gabe has been superb so far.  I'd go so far as to say that D-Will has been hesitant will the ball - he has not been able to take advantage of Pruitt.

Granted, he has been solid defensively and although I was at the home game vs the Jazz and did not have the luxury of watching the game from the TV perspective (much better than my seats), color me impressed.  Gabe is doing a formidable job, especially for a 2nd round/2nd year player.

That said, we need a vet backup PG :-D
God bless and good night!
