His outside shooting and free throw shooting is crazy good. Anyways this rookie game is mad boring. This weekend is for kids only. None of these players want to be here. I used to think Rondo was an awful shooter because his long arms made it hard for him to follow thru but Durant proves this wrong.

I think the players do enjoy being at All Star weekend. If they don't want to be there then they wouldn't be complaining about being in this competition or that game or that challenge. I think the All Star weekend is the best one out of all three major sports (football, baseball, basketball). Me, being a 19 year old, really enjoy the all star weekend.

I think Durant and Lebron would dominate the league in scoring for the next ten years.

yes he will be.  He is already leading the league in scoring for 2009 and he's only 20 years old.  It's sick

Durant won't be the best scorer as long as Lebron is in the league.

Why do you say that?  LeBron isn't even the leagues highest scorer now.

Durant won't be the best scorer as long as Lebron is in the league.

The Lakers loss proved that Lebron will never be a great outside shooter or mid-range shooter. Still the 2nd best scorer after Kobe and still best nba player overall.

while i basically agree because of LBJs power, KD has Larry's kind of diversity to his offensive game....

he may not lead the league, but wow is he gonna be fun to watch.

Why not? There are ways in which he can
improve and he's already a solid baller
(to say the least!).
Plus, I love the fact that he's a good kid.
Nice topic.

Well, as Lebron improves his jumper more and more he's just going to get better and better. And for obvious reasons, "highest scorer" doesn't necessarily mean "best scorer".

I'm not following the logic that one game proves that a guy will never be a good a shooter.

I agree with you that Kobe is currently the league's best scorer. However, I stand by my statement that Durant will not be the best scorer as long as Lebron is playing.

KG's contract is up 11/12, Durant's is up the next offseason.

Sure he can. He has a good jumpshot, has length, elevation, and can work in the post.

The bigger question is can he become a winning basketball player?

well he's leading the league in scoring in 2009 and his team is playing like .500 ball despite the fact it's a pretty horrid supporting cast.

He's legit.  I'm not going to be surprised at all next year if he's already leading the league in scoring.  I now DVR all of his games.
