That is awful. But this gives the TWolves a top lottery pick without McHale doing the drafting. THERE IS MUCH REJOICING!

That's terrible.  Al deserved better this season.

So this is what it feels like to get socked in the stomach and take a knee to the groin simultaneously....

too bad for Al.  I would have thought if he were going to get injured it would be the ankle again.  Too bad for Al.

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery

Man, I feel for Al and the Wolves. They were really starting to play well.

Here's wishing him a full recovery.

I hate this news.  I was really enjoying watching the kid come into his own.  I hope he can bounce back from this with little or no long term complications.

  • You know my methods, Watson.
too bad...

al has bad luck...i'm glad we got rid of him because i think his career will be marred by injuries and the poor kid is damaged goods.

Wow.. terrible news. Hope he has a speedy recovery. The Wolves were playing great basketball, too.

Sigh.

Good kid. The injury won't help his defensive limitations.

Horrible news.  Really one of the sadest sports stories since the beginning of the new year.  Get well soon, Al.

In terms of recovery, realistically, he'll play a little late next year, but it will be the year after before he will be back to form?
