As I expected. Knicks playing more D in the first few minutes than they played all game against the Lakers and Cavs. I can't believe the Celtics have the same record as they did last season the way most teams go all out to play them.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Defense?
"If somebody would have told you when he was playing with the Knicks that Nate Robinson was going to change a big time game and he was going to do it mostly because of his defense, somebody would have got slapped."  Mark Jackson

did we bring back the 2006 version of the pick and roll defense for tonight?

I very much prefer the 2007-2009 version please.

Noticed Tony Allen is driving into the lane with his head down tonight. So of course that means he's not getting a good look as to where he is and he's overpowering the shot. Hence, two missed layups.

Free Eddie House. Put Gabe in there.

Gabe would not be exposed against the Nix alleged defense. And Eddie would GO OFF.

Wake up Doc.

If Gabe did a garbage play like that, how quick would Glenn give him the hook? The double standard is nauseating.
