Ok I did this trade on trade machine and it worked out. Surprisingly he's only getting paid $2.3mil for this year with a player option for next year. lets face it TA isn't the 6th man for a championship team. We are are too dependent on PP, Ray, and KG to carry us every game with little bench help. We need another scorer off the bench & provide veteran leadership. Don't know if Ainge is willing a guy he thinks highly of but something has to give. Our bench needs a tuneup & TA is a tunedown. I'm hoping Ricky Davis/House/BBD can be our spark plugs for #18.

I'd do that in a heartbeat, but I'd trade TA for anything just to not have him on the team.

You mean the dude that missed a shot on purpose AT HIS OWN BASKET to get a rebound for a triple double? You mean the dude that is averaging 5.5 ppg (shooting a lights out %0.327 FG% may I add) on the Clips? You mean the selfish locker room cancer that has bounced around the league for years? The dude that created his own fanclub?

I wouldn't take him for free at this point.

As much as I dislike Tony Allen, the players on the team all seem to like him.  Everything I've read says that he's one of the most popular players on the team.  That was never the case with Ricky.  That, in combination with the terrible year that he's having, is enough to say no to this trade.

I thought R.Davis was recently suspended for some drug involvement...maybe im wrong?

I thought about Ricky as a 6th man in the offseason, but I've completely changed my mind.  He's just a losing player.  And his game has really fallen off the last 2 years. TA is the better player, and TA always plays with nice effort.

He already served a 5 game suspension.  I'm surprised he didn't get caught earlier.  Every once in a while when he was with the C's, his eyes would be completely red.  Maybe allergies!

Seeing as Risky Davis topped my list for least favorite Celtic of all time, I might actually switch allegiances to another team if Ricky were back in green.  My god man!!  Risky Davis????  Wow.

Is today April 1st?
