I'd still love to have Artest and getting him away from the Lakers would be a plus.

But if we can't land a big before the deadline this season, that has to be our number one priority.

It needs to be Sheed, he can allow KG to rest more which would prolong his career. I am skeptical as to how many of those players on the list would take the salary cut that is needed in order for us to sign them. If AI is willing he could be one of the best 6th men ever and prolong his career as well.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

what are the chances we could sign shawn marion to an affordable 2 year deal?

his defensive versatility and 3 pt shooting would be the perfect compliment to the big three.

maybe the chance at a championship would be enough to get him to sign on.

I know Marion has the "malcontent" label on him, but I think he'd be good in Boston.  He's had to put up with huge egos (Amare, Wade) and I really don't think he'd mind playing with 3 unselfish future HoF'ers.

That said, can we get him on the cheap?  I doubt it.

He and Sheed would be good fits in our system, though.
God bless and good night!

I thought the whole reason Phoenix traded Marion was because he wanted to be the first option on offense.  Hopefully between then and now he's realized that that wont happen but I doubt it.

He would not even be a starter on our team let alone a star.  With that said if he was willing to take a James Posey-type role then he would be ABSOLUTELY perfect.  I just dont see him buying into the whole ubuntu thing.

I'd pay to see Artest on the Lakers. Him and Kobe wouldn't last a full season. Maybe we could get them Sheed as well.

I wonder why no one voted for Wally?

I voted for Grant Hill.
